Once a thriving indoor mall and department store in downtown Hamilton, Hamilton City Centre has been renovated to introduce office use and new entertainment uses. Improvements included the addition of new windows to the old retail space and a new central core that replaces the department store escalator with a new elevator and feature stair. The open risers and glass floor landings allow natural light to penetrate from the skylight above to the renovated spaces below.
