Sacred Heart Church is located in the picturesque village of Rockwood, in Guelph Eramosa Township. The parish has outgrown its existing church and a new church and parish hall is planned on a hill adjacent to Camp Brebeuf.  The new facility will also serve as a chapel for the camp.  The design of the church is directly informed by the site.  The central nave terminates at the altar in front of a glass bay that opens onto the village of Rockwood.  The traditional cruciform shape has been modified with the transept wings inflecting towards the altar, with additional glass bays that open onto the surrounding countryside.
